On February 11, 2026, the Dominica Solid Waste Management Corporation (DSWMC) and the Ministry of Environment, Rural Modernization, Kalinago Upliftment, and Constituency Empowerment proudly hosted the 2nd Prize Giving Ceremony for the Plastic Bottle Collection Competition ♻️🌎🏆.
The transition from the OECS programme to the “Solid Waste Zero Waste Adopt-a-School” initiative has been a resounding success 🎉👏. The Saint Mary’s Academy 4-H Club was especially proud to emerge as the high school that collected the most plastic bottles 🥇💚 — a true testament to teamwork, dedication, and environmental stewardship!
We also extend heartfelt congratulations to all the top-performing primary schools and the other high schools that participated and made a meaningful impact 🌿🌟.
