We are extremely appreciative of Mr. Arthur Pemberton’s donation to our school and his willingness to teach our students how to code this summer. He leaves a lasting legacy that will help students for years to come, and his influence goes well beyond the classroom.
His Impact
Our high school students were prepared for real-world applications by Mr. Pemberton, who not only taught them how to code in Python but also imparted life skills that they can utilize in the future.
Along with teaching deeper and more comprehensive concepts, he also went above and beyond the basics by providing the students with microcontrollers and other components for a hands-on learning experience. This allowed the students to do things like create an email client.
Astounding Generosity
In addition to teaching our students Python, Mr. Pemberton kindly donated a large amount of equipment to our computer lab, including new PCs, monitors, and other essential tech tools. This improved our technological resources and made sure that more students had access to the resources they needed to succeed.
More than just equipment, these donations show that we genuinely care about our students’ futures and believe they have what it takes to succeed in technology.
