4-H Club Tops Dominica’s Plastic Bottle Collection Competition

On February 11, 2026, the Dominica Solid Waste Management Corporation (DSWMC) and the Ministry of Environment, Rural Modernization, Kalinago Upliftment, and Constituency Empowerment proudly hosted the 2nd Prize Giving Ceremony for the Plastic Bottle Collection Competition β™»οΈπŸŒŽπŸ†.

The transition from the OECS programme to the β€œSolid Waste Zero Waste Adopt-a-School” initiative has been a resounding success πŸŽ‰πŸ‘. The Saint Mary’s Academy 4-H Club was especially proud to emerge as the high school that collected the most plastic bottles πŸ₯‡πŸ’š β€” a true testament to teamwork, dedication, and environmental stewardship!
